Checking in

After enjoying a few days in Potsdam,
I 'm back in Oregon, and thanks to Jay, I now have a photo of my mother at her birthday celebration, getting ready to cut the cake.

Mom and I checked out a local motel two miles outside Potsdam, on the way to Norwood, appropriately called Northern Family Motel and I reserved the whole place for the weekend of the reunion...starting with Thursday and going through Sunday.

There are 15 rooms that can accommodate 2-6 people, if a cot or two is added. There's also a large annex which several families might share, with four bedrooms, kitchen and living/dining area --it sleeps 12-15, but unlike the individual rooms, there is no breakfast provided.

The setting is great, with space for concurrent games of volleyball, baseball and bocce ball and there are grills and a pool. It could be a gathering spot on Friday , when many people will be arriving.

Rooms are reserved under Post and will be held until the end of May but you must make your own reservations. Check it out www.northernfamilymotel.com and let us know what you think and if you have another suggestion, please post it.

So far, about 90 people are planning to attend the reunion. If you want to attend but missed the Sept. 29 deadline, please let us know ASAP.

Diane Pusateri & Family

Hi all! Glad to see Tim jumping on -- Maureen said she felt shy out here all by herself!

Tim and I moved back to upstate NY 3 years ago. Now Chris, John and I all live about 10 minutes a part from one another. Odd being back here after nearly 25 years.

My Alex is now 11 and James is 9. (That's James on game day.) They both play sports --- and brass instruments. Tim is a corporate trainer for Oracle -- and I am an online executive which means most days I am perched at the kitchen counter writing for my magazine -- as the boys and their friends storm through. I do not have a web cam, though; I figure no one should witness how things all come together. Some things should remain a mystery.

Hey, what am I chopped liver! Just kidding. I thought I would add a pic of my girls. The last time we were together Livvy was a baby and Sophie was a thought. Can't wait to see everyone.

Here's what's going on with Maureen

It's hard to believe it but Chris is 35 years old. This picture with grandma was taken in Montery CA last year. Next is a picture of "the newly-weds". Lou and I were married just over a year ago in San Francisco. The third picture is me and Chris, at our wedding ceremony, all cleaned up!!!
